I hope so. The titles certainly don't indicate that it's for Newsline. The note change and the growl is much more pronounced than in the other titles.


It is Newsline.

Nations have globe sequences (apart from Wales who have their counties flying in as you can see)

Which suggests that Breakfast is not getting new titles, would look strange having different titles the second day in the week.

But BBC World News will start at 0500 then, I'm guessing? It's only 0830 because News 24 (sorry, BBC News) still insists on taking Breakfast to cut costs.

The first line suggests the new newsroom goes live at 8.30

Perhaps this is a shift change as all previous looks launched with TWT at 5.00am. Plus, why would World relaunch at 8.30?

Maybe 8.30 is when all outlet's have changed.

IE: World change at 05.00, Breakfast (well the regional opts) at 06.00, then the final and biggest change News 24 at 08.30! Wink

The new look could launch first but he could be saying that N6 won't be going back on air until 8:30?

Oh - so Breakfast is not part of this new and improved 'uniform' BBC News...seems daft, but I think that is what happened back in 1999 come to think of it Confused

Yeah it was still Breakfast News until 2001 I think. I reckon the best we'll get will be a red BBC News box under the current titles. Come to think of it the current titles are kind of in line with the new white look. It shouldn't look out of place.

Never mind Kitt - at least the current titles have changed since 1999 - so I suppose I cannot grumble - even though I like to Laughing
