BBC News Rebrand - This Monday

I think the newsline theme is actually the new theme for BBC World News / BBC News Channel. Thoughts?

Remember how the 1999 N24 had two versions of the logo, one which got used more than the other (for titles and most stings vs. some stings)?

Willing to bet, since the theme of this set is "What if Dec 2003-Mar 2008 had never happened", that we're going to see that motif return too.

By the way, can Spotlight (BBC SW) keep the lighthouse look?

Ive just seen this statement graphic on N24 and tell me if im wrong but I think it is in the new style. As I haven't seen it before.

I hope so. The titles certainly don't indicate that it's for Newsline. The note change and the growl is much more pronounced than in the other titles.

interesting that the reporting scotland video suggests that it'll be all CGI globe rather than including local images like the english regions.

This is so similar to the Question Time titles, also by lambie nairn. Is it just chance that it also uses Gill Sans?
