Lol, I thought that was strange logic, too. Surely the best time to swap a channel's name is when it's going through a rocky patch with not many viewers, i.e. fewer people would notice? Doing it at the height of the channel's success is pretty stupid. I also loved the fact she mistakenly referred to it as 'News 24'. I suspect that might happen a lot from next week and be a major embarrassment for the management

Re: previous post about whether N24 will do anything special, I can't see it happening. They'll want this change to be as low key as possible. The most we'll get is some sympathetic director at 3am Monday who has managed to dig out an old countdown! (Or a 60sec version of the current, as was shown at 10pm)
