Interesting to note the 8pm graphics use Gill Sans. Also, the regional logo's use the new style such as: Look North . With the region in bold, like the new regional titles.
I remember it being commented upon before!

Out of interest, are they keeping the morning/ afternoon updates, and if so will they continue to be infront of a CSO? Will it be pretty much the same but with the new branding and background?

Yeh nowhere as near as the video one mate - it's actually boring to watch the same globe rotate in the same way for 60 seconds!

Hopefully it's Martin's. It would be a terrible decision if they had that boring piece of rubbish as the countdown.

Safe areas are a dead give away - no way you would put the numbers that close to the edge. That being said, I would welcome a countdown that gives us back the coming up screen!

I think you'll find that most people would prefer a video countdown to watching the same globe spinning for 60 seconds. Two people have already agreed with me since Martin's post.

I think that video is just proof that if you gave forum members 500k to spend on a rebrand they would just re-invent the past. Unlike LN, who have, erm...
