Erm, although they could use the breakfast backing I'd they'd still be at the News 24 style desk set, therefore as they're not sitting on the sofa it will be pretty much the same as it is now.

No BBC News rebranding for Breakfast then or is there ?

Any inside info ?

I thought the whole idea of this rebrand was to bring everything in line TV presentation wise with BBC News ?

No, breakfast shall be rebranded under the ITV News banner

It does highlight the inconsistent flaws though in this rebranding exercise, talking about ditching News 24 and bringing everything together under the BBC News banner - and yet they leave Breakfast out of it, even though it's watched be more people than News 24 get over the entire day.

And if as it seems that really is the case, well I think Breakfast has had a lucky escape.

Notice no quote marks !

I wasn't questioning the quote marks, just the spacing. You had " Breakfast " when normally it'd be "Breakfast". However the correct convention for titles is to italicise them - Breakfast .

I think you should only quote a title when it is an unofficial assumed title.

And in single quotation marks as well, not double. Like 'this' instead of "this".

Back to the topic in hand... can someone please shed some light as to what has cost £500,000?

As far as I can see, the titles are graphics that several members on this forum could knock up in a few days. There's nothing radical about the concept so its not as if the money is for creative ideas.
