Persumably there will be different shots, as the desk position has changed. And maybe the way the introductions have changed??

All three main presenters (Kate, George, Huw) are away today - I assume they're doing rehersals in the new studio.

Well George will be presenting from the same studio on Monday as he's done for months now, and Huw's moving back into a studio that hasn't changed at all as far as the Ten goes. So why?

To get used to new sequences? Just because they're in the same studio doesn't mean they don't need to rehearse. As it stands, they rehearse before every broadcast, despite doing the same programme day-in day-out.

What new sequences?

The way Business/Sport will be shot/presented has changed.
The use of the screen technology in N6 will also be different for presenters and reporters as there's much more flexibility on what they will be asked to do in the new studio setup.
On top of that the Nationals will want to pilot programmes, and all the Module programmes as well as the replacement for News 24 Sunday (Title TBA) need to be looked at as well, and presenters play a key role in these pilots.

Does anyone know if BBC News channel will make use of the Breakfast screen backing. titles and lighting after the 8:30 transfer, and on weekend mornings?

Oh and will Breakfast get new titles to match the others...

I would hope, with the flexibility of N6, they would at weekends, but I don't see the point at 8:30 because the programme isn't branded as "Breakfast".

People have - lots of times, but generally with no reply.

I know, that's why it's becoming increasingly annoying each time.

I'd also like to reiterate my question about whether the half a million was just for the brand or went towards the studio too. Hello?

I'm hoping Breakfast will be getting a new screen backing, the current one is awful. It makes the screens look as if they are made out of cardboard! Surely it's got to be involved in the rebrand - it is part of BBC News after all? Why would they cover everything else and not Breakfast?

Having said that, I can see it staying exactly the same come Monday!

I was rather offended when I asked twice - not once but twice -what the new names for Entertainment 24, Film 24 etc. would be with no reply whatsoever, yet somebody else mentions it in passing and a massive discussion starts. I'm thinking of taking my views elsewhere....*huff*

I would like to see the backing change at the weekend, considering it is now possible, and the same graphics used across the seven days, regardless of which studio is used.

And your sarcasm is neither as well crafted or as funny as Dr Cox from scrubs, and is in fact irritating and offensive.
