New look BBC News output from Monday (January 2008)

For anyone who watches after about 1am it's always been "BBC News" so it really won't matter.

For the rest of the viewing public during the day... they don't notice because the titles and stings will've changed.

I'm fairly certain the Ariel article is wrong - surely the BBC will completely rebrand on the same day? That would make sense.

Nothing's going to change yet then, by the looks of things?...

PS: I detest the use of a very heavy Gill Sans, the like of which I have just seen in use for text...There's only so far it can go before it starts to look frankly comedic!

If they were going to phase it out after Friday's bulletin would probably make most sense.

As people said, after 1am it is BBC News, and it also is for "Breakfast" at the weekend. Saturday and Sundays schedule is largely just bulletins on the hour too, more traditional BBC News than rolling BBC News 24 really.
