It was confirmed a few days ago they would be, and infact, what you may even see in them.

As people have been asking about NWT, i've been on to them and they have said that from Monday NWT will have a new title sequence and graphics, but there won't be any major changes to the set.

The Guardian have posted a video of the new titles: nothing new, just a pretty nice quality video:

Ah, that's the version of the music that will be used across the Nationals, News 24 and World. The version posted on the BBC website was obviously an early version of the theme. News 24 and World will have a 2" build to the titles (shown there) and the Nationals will have a 4" build.

Now why would he say that?
The end of the Ten / Six, and One for that matter, will be carefully scripted...
Much more fun will be the 24 Presenters trying not to say '24' - we've got a book running at the moment...

I can just imagine Mr Edwards signing off tonight "Thats it from the Ten O'Clock News, coverage continues on the News Channel..." followed by the sound of a room of big suits collectively banging their heads off the table.

Talkback in his ear tells him he has 5 seconds to sign off, whats the easiest bit to drop yet keep the jist of what he's saying...

I don't think the Nationals are that strictly timed. I seem to remember being told that there's a certain amount of flexibility between N6 and BBC One Presentation. It's very rare that the end of a BBC News bulletin gets cut off, for example. In fact, I don't ever remember it happening.
Edit - don't forget that the BBC One bulletins are also carefully scripted and rehearsed as well. It's not like BBC World doing bulletins - the presenters on there frequently crashed the closing music because of the semi-rolling nature of the channel.

There was that Six Update (or was it a ten - i forget now) that threw back to Dermot who literally just said goodbye and nothing else
