Think these look too polished and pre-rendered to have nice VT drop-zones like the current London titles. Doubt it but maybe someone on here knows...

I would love to see these in HD!
Also could BBC London still have their Random and Changing VT for the very end of the titles? It seems to be the only shot running at a normal speed...

I don't think the dog will be in a tower or stacked, but will be like it is now.
With the dog, it will need to be bigger for BBC World News, but the extra space could be a clock for the UK ticker...

Never thought I'd say this but I think the BBC News box works quite well on the titles. As long as the DOG is flat, mind.

These are lovely! The one on the blog is a little bit different to the one on the website, as they have a few frames missing towards the end and the music is slightly delayed, but overall, these are going to look great on screen!

Well look at the end of the titles. The last shot, has the VT slide slightly right, and the pulses passing over could be slightly see-through with black and white VT running below, but I guess not. I wonder though if they will have a seasonal and time of day variation, like they did with LDN. It is likely for those regions with "today" or "tonight" in their titles...

All I can say is MUCH BETTER! At last!!!!! We have a BBC News we can be Proud of. Let's hope that the ropey technical standards have gone as well. I love the New titles - especially the Look East ones (my Region Ones although we have the West Opt out from Cambridge).
Does anyone know if Look East (East and West) will be getting updates sets because they are rather old and knackered now.

I don't really see why this comes under 'top stories' on the BBC News website. According to the 'play it again' message on the regional titles clip, these are the new 'titels'
Disappointing that they didn't manage to get any new music for their half a million, also very disappointed with the regional titles (as someone who watches North West Tonight).
I'm generally under-whelmed by this new look.
