BBC News Rebrand - This Monday

and it is just 'BBC London'.

I'm guessing from the article that the BBCNC will use the general titles? As it talks about it being reffered to as 'BBC News'.

Wow! Doesn't BBC London look fantastic! So much better than the trash they have atm. inddeed i think this rebrand is going to have the biggest impact on the out-of-date and disjointed regions.

Like the national titles as well though!

They could have updated the regional music, how old is that now!

Yeah it sure does Manxy - BBC News at One, BBC News at Six and BBC News at Ten. That will be three News at Tens - ITV News at Ten, Sky News at Ten and BBC News at Ten

Yeah but it's just "News at TEN" not "ITV News at TEN"

Just the depth and detail of LN's original 1999 titles and just as good. Really impressive, much better than the various black and red ribbon looks we've had over the last, what 4 years?!

I love the new graphics, think they are amazing. Can't wait until the 21st. And yes the only thing that lets them down if the BBC News box, the mock on here with the strip logo looked better.

I'm surprised to say I really likes these! And I bet they'll look much better on the telly rather than the shoddy pixelated versions we have at the moment (!)

I'll be picky though and say (using the version from the BBC News article as an example), that it would have been nice the channel title sequence to have the shot starting at 7secs to be one long continuous shot until the end of titles (a la what we have now).
Would have given plenty of opportunity for fancy swooshing 3D camerawork around the globe. But alas, I'm a pedantic soul

Overall though, very impressed and on the titles side of things, I'll be looking forward to Monday indeed.

But changing the national bulletin names to 'News at...'? I think that's a bit of a shame - and I'm sure the Daily Mail and alike will pounce on that teeny detail too. Remember a few years back when Anna Ford accidently said 'BBC News at One' - there was uproar.
