It looks like the old one, but it's possible a new one may appear on Monday.

Where does it say that.
Also in those webcam shots, is that a window, or projectors, if so, could they get a new backing with a sort of etched globe/ring moteif to match the main set?

I notice it says that there are 3", 2" and 1" versions of the end title sequence. I wonder if this means they're going to neaten up the throw to to regions by actually ending the bulletins again.

No, it's new. Those are projectors in the background but no plans for a different image, AFAIK.
Also, well done Martin...

Woah, they are fast titles aren't they!
Seeing the VT work in those shapes for the Local News, makes me think a graphic and VT merged countdown, may be possible!

wow!
although a bit blurry, they look great... shame about the similar music for the Generic titles, but the regional music sounds so much better than now..
the speed helps I think, making it seem more pacy and les sluggish, like the current ones

Hmm.. not too sure about most of the way it animates, although the final image of the rings pulsing up and down around the globe looks lovely.
A bit disappointed that there's not much noticable difference in the music, but overall while these aren't as good as the original 1999 package (while the cream is a bit outdated now, the titles and original music in '99 hasn't been bettered since) they're such a massive improvement on the current red-on-black titles.
