BBC News Live would be better? Along the lines of 5 Live?

That is nice - maybe that could be the name of the interactive service?!

I was thinking the same about the desk, also Newsnight and Working lunch wouldn't work as well with the oval one imo.

Why is the BBC now so obsessed with relaunching its news presentation as often as it does? It's as if we've had a new look every year for the BBC1 bulletins, for the last few years. With so many cutbacks planned to BBC News, isn't the money better invested in reporting and coverage?

Of course I'd like to see the nations and regions revert to designing their own looks, but I think we know that's all dead and buried now.

Lots of internal studio, and departmental changes have opened a fortuitous time to re-brand, and restore constancy that BBC News in-house have gradually allowed to take place.

Anyone know of any BBC TV News Regions that are not currently broadcasting from their usual studios this week and broadcasting from a different studio or the newsroom in advance of the rebrand changes ahead ?

Surely the regional studio sets have got to have at least a lick of paint to fit in with this new look or would this if anything happen over the weekend ?

you can insist on calling it News 24 or BBC World. Razz still, the name is going to change, there's nothing we can do about it, but to accept.

i don't like it either btw.

If they wanted consistency, how about BBC World 24?

Quick question... did the £550,000 price include the technical work required to N6 or was it just for the branding update?
