Looking at the image for News 24 (BBC News Channel
) i hope it doesn't stay like that all day long as i can see it will tire very quickly due to the fact it looks too fake. Still i might be pleasantly suprised so i really should hold judgement until i see it on screen in full.

Slight 1999 influence aside (which has in itself paid off well), it's nice to hear a little music sting that indicates the less suitable elements of the existing score may have been addressed here.
Namely, this apparent new greater emphasis on melody (which I find both more pleasant and somewhat more stirring to listen to). Plus, as a result of the cues being taken from older pieces, I would guess the growling bass that almost tears through the current N24 titles score has been ousted; that would help greatly in curbing what I feel is a slightly too gritty and aggressive edge, especially if used alongside the new designs.
I get the impression there's no need to worry about such harsh sound elements being retained, though - it all seems to be in hand!

I hope not, I liked it.
I've just thought of a few things, and thought I best bring it up in here. If the 6 is going to be staying put where it is now, will they put the desk in the middle? Also, may there be a new desk to be shared between Newsnight and the 6, with the same design as the News Channels desk?

well it'll shut harshy up if nothing else.
I do hope the music is changed, the current one has lots of swooshy noises for the laser beams in the current sequence which simply don't match the animation of the new title sequence
LOL, I didn't say anything!

I really don't like the World News logo - it looks clutter. Just "World" would be fine.

No all the N6 studio shots are real.
It may be real, but the presenter and desk have been layered on!
Regardless this is a bad move for News 24, sorry BBC News Channel to be in a set with zero atmoshphere, and Laimbie Nairn, all they've done is gone back to 1999, but used white instead of beige!

I'm not sure the press shots of the studio are even real. They look very Photoshopped

Newsnight's round desk is actually quite similar in design to the new oval desk. So I would assume they are keeping the current one. They are not awkwardly different.
