Looks nice, but seems a bit dark for such bright, white titles. Even the grey floor is now black... but then that's probably a good thing meaning fewer obvious scuff marks.

Well, they did suggest more "White space"

I assume Breakfast will be adopting the new look as well, or will they keep their current graphics?

It looks like they've put the desk in the middle of the set, which is good.
I like the background, it looks fantastic. The desk's nice aswell!

The background does indeed look pretty impressive - even though I'd prefer an actual newsroom (like we have now), I have to say those images look pretty good.

Wonder where business and sport news will come from...the main desk? I doubt there's much space either side, especially when there's a business guest in the studio, or for the main Friday edition of 'Sportsday.'

Still impressive though!

Got hold of a few more images - will put the ones of the endboards on each set of titles up later but heres a couple of the studio. The Huw one we've already seen and one of how it will look for the BBC News Channel.

I agree. I always thought it looked a bit strange having the desk and newsreader huddled over in a corner of the set.

I just hope they're not going to use the video walls for displaying photos and whatnot. It will ruin the 'newsroom' feel.

3 months for that??

I think it's pretty lame considering the amount of time it's taken.

I thought it took 3 months because of all of the technical stuff

The 3 months were required to do plumbing on the studio so that it would have the capabilities to broadcast a 24 hour news channel.

It's not just the set that's been changed - they've done loads of tech changes too!

Note the changes to the light boxes above - seems to be one to the left indicating that'll be a presenting position?

Well, it may indeed darken as the day goes on, though that could be especially for the publicity shots.
