For the last few days the letters B, B and C have been missing from the famous frontage at BBC Television Centre. I don't know why. It's the sort of thing we could normally expect an email about, cc'd to the entire universe.

Where have they gone? What can have happened to them?

Have they been stolen by the Canadian Public Service broadcasters, CBC to use on the famous frontage of their building, without realising that they're a C short?

Maybe they've been removed to be replaced by new exciting slopey letters, or slopey backward letters or something to appeal to a younger demographic...just whatever the marketing people tell us is in.
Or perhaps the glue came unstuck and they just fell off.

I'll entertain all suggestions. And what should they be replaced with? What letters best describe the modern BBC...and what do they stand for?

Anyway, way of topic....should we not be talking about the cold news branding that makes the BBC look like a staecoach bus destination map?

1,000 spy cases a month - many for trivia.

To do this in any other major democracy would require a court order and evidence of wrong doing - and be reserved for high level crime

Watching dog walkers and keeping an eye on building work in public areas is hardly 'tracking your location using moblile phones'

You're right though it is off topic...

That looks fantastic!

Looks pretty good, I'm presently surprised. I'd prefer the real newsroom, but this is a nice change.

EDIT: Look at where the lightboxes were!

So either both of those pictures have been touched up in Photoshop or they have really gone to town on the cracks between the screens, hopefully the latter. Look very good though, only thing is from those shots not sure about how realistic the corner bit overlap will look.

Told you it looks like HSBC. Well it does in my opinion, anyway.

Well, it may indeed darken as the day goes on, though that could be especially for the publicity shots.
