Why can't the Ten come from N8? Surely it would make things a bit easier for Newsnight - though of course there won't really be a problem as all the stuff will be shared like the desk.

I don't suppose you can tell us anything about plans for when News 24 goes into N6, Media Boy? What sort of backdrop they'll have?

Last time the One was in News 24 for a week, the updates from the CSO, used a very short version of the 6/10 Update sting, rather than the studio pan (for obvious reasons!)

Just seen the use of a CSO with newsroom backdrop (with the stairs etc) for a recorded interview of Nick Clegg into the Sunday early evening news. Not sure this is anything to do with the changes, but not seen it used before.

so long as it isn't that awful one they used when they were in there temporarily with the srteched computer screens, then i'm happy

I don't think you've got me. It wasn't a backdrop in N6, it was just a full screen CSO of the real newsroom, used for 20 seconds during a recorded interview.

what do people think about backdrops for N6 with N24? not sure if it has been mentioned yet
