I suppose there is no real reason why you would not simulcast Working Lunch, I was getting confused thinking it started at 1pm one day a week but its 1.30 so that would work.
Isn't it pretty random times?

So I assume, this is the week where we should expect to see the Press Releases and Press Photos...

Well it was hinted that we should look out in this weekends papers, and with Saturday over that would suggest the Sunday's.
Unless the editors plan to go back in time Cool

Ah, yes, but we would already have seen the results, no?

How does £500,000 compare with previous rebrands?

Yes, but does the BBC update their Press Office site on a Sunday?

Don't know but the Sunday papers got all their stuff sent through yesterday and it is all embargoed until midnight tonight.

1230 M,Tu,Th,Fr
1330 W

And Friday would clash with the 1 o clock News as its an hour long.

The programme does move occasionally. Generally though it goes off air for a week or so, especially for sports events.

Probably a lot less than when they relaunched for N6/ TC7 - i.e. the screens cost a lot but they didn't do much to the titles. Seems like a heck of a lot for an unnecessary rebrand during an era of costcutting and budget shaving.

The article isn't that interesting anyway. Most of the tidbits have already been posted in this thread. Another point which I don't think has been posted, is that the rebrand cost just under £500,000. And that's it, really.

They may have better pictures though!!!

Well the BBC One rebrand in 2006 cost 1.2million, and the £500,000, will have been spent on the studio, graphics, titles etc and the look will be on screen almost all the time.

The previous 2 sets of titles have been done in-house, so they probably folded the cost into the annual budgets, and not counted it as an external payment like this. Also it is a small fee in the scheme of things, and the big changes and new equipment costs are necessary along with all the regions getting their new graphics kits.

On 21st April, what will happen overnight, will News 24 revert back to old graphics or will BBC World adopt the new ones?
