Breakfast stays where it is surely, as the BBC News channel will need N6 from 0830 while Breakfast continues with the "fluffier" items.

Ok, but will Breakfast get a new look to match the other BBC News titles. Also, when they switch to N6, will News 24 continue Breakfast with the same backing on the screens, and use the backing for weekend Breakfast?

Also, will News 24's graphics be consistent with all the other bulletins, both Local and National? So Breakfast's graphics being a variation on News 24's so we don't have the DOG and Clock missing on N24?

The whole point - as you will see - is to bring a consistent BBC News look across BBC Journalism. I actually think the changes will be noticed more in the nations and regions than the network bulletins.

Perhaps the News channel backdrop will automate in realtime, ie. it'll be just like the sun setting and rising, and you won't even notice it...

9 years of the blue map, that must be a record for one show's title sequence!

Maybe you should hope that for the regions it doesn't go full circle and you keep the map for another 9 years!
