If you don't mind noggin, can i ask what you do?
I don't mind at all.
Of course you can ask.
Noggin - you may know the answer to this.
I know BBC Weather is a separate affair from BBC News, but will we get some new weather graphics too?
Also, will News 24 (if it's still called that!) have the weather presented from the screens in N6 or use the Green screen they currently use?

No, I was standing behind the camera wtih a clipboard during the 1 and the 6. I can't remember what I did during the intervening four and a half hours. Anyway, there was a column to the left of the desk, and a translucent map of the world etched on the glass seperating the newsroom bit from the studio bit.

That's strange. I dreamt I was taken up in a scissor lift to speak with the Deal or No Deal Banker only to find out he was Mr Blobby.
And anyway, I haven't been in an HSBC lately. Any chance of a better description?

I had a dream about the rebranded BBC News set the other night. If that's anything to go by, it will look like the interior of a modern branch of HSBC.

By 'column', I mean a free-standing column, ie. not attached to a wall.
A lot of abstract curves, red walls, and translucent glass / perspex. I know that description could be applied to the current News 24 set, but I can't really elaborate in words, other than to say it looked like the inside of HSBC

I hope so.
As for the rebranding of News 24 to News Channel I really fail to see the point. Why not get rid of a strong brand and replace it with something that sounds rubbish and weak? I feel that's what's been done.
At least only a week Monday to see this new look.

The newsroom looks great, modern.

Did it involve the fourth floor perhaps? I often find that any time I spend up there can easily become a bit of a blur in my mind.
