Could you tell us more about these titles. Are they uniform with each other, is it done by Lambie Nairn, and what features in this World of White...
Town names - but then you probably could have guessed.....
It is like going full circle from what I've heard - in some ways... although it's a bit of a mix... images plus place names. Regional that is - no idea of national.

If you mean the 'BBC NEWS' bit (as opposed to the globe) then I highly doubt it, though don't know for sure. The BBC logo is a well established and highly recognisible brand. If they were to change it, it would entail changing the lettering on every BBC building in the country, not to mention stationery, publications, programme credits etc etc.

He said BBC News not BBC...
I think its High Time, BBC News ditched Gill Sans, and actually introduce a logo to it. I tried it once...

Bring on the BBC News mocks...
I hope we finally get a good strong brand again across all BBC News' outputs. I'm fed up with all the bits and bobs of pres' from across the last 9 years.
Hopefully some decent titles and astons etc and music which is part of the brand but each programme/channel has its own distinctive look again.

The town names are done very cleverly since there's now no map...
I think white, red and a globe

No, I like(d) the use of Gill Sans - it looked very sophisticated in the 1999-2003 era especially (and before that when News 24 launched.)
