Could you tell us more about these titles. Are they uniform with each other, is it done by Lambie Nairn, and what features in this World of White...

Town names - but then you probably could have guessed.....

What happened to circles!!!!?

Well, those are in-house. The last LN creations for BBC News were the 1999-2003 titles. Place names were a central feature of all those titles from BBC One to BBC World.

Don't know how they'll work the hand-off to Newsnight, but there was something on the internet recently saying that Newsnight would just get 5 or 6 minutes to prepare their set, rather than the usual several hours.

Sorry if I'm being an absolute doofus, but if the Ten is coming from N6, and Newsnight is coming from TC7, there would be no rush to do any set changing? The last programme from TC7 is Newsround I think, so that should provide them with a few hours, rather than minutes.

He means during the period while N6 is being upgraded, therefore out of action. The Ten O'Clock News will have to move into TC7.

I'll cry if they aren't. What NWT has now is perfect IMO. Their set is rubbish but titles and visuals are suprb.

Agreed. Their set is hideous (clashes badly with the red graphics) but their titles are very good.
