Sophie Long on the 9-12 shift again this evening. Must admit, she was very good last week. The BBC made a mistake moving her from her old slot on the channel. Truly one of the best they have. Clive disappearing again I assume, though he was on the 9-12 slot yesterday...

Possibly, but one would argue he's not 'senior' enough...perhaps we can expect to see George/Huw/Mishal/Jeremy (Bowen)/Ben (Brown) or Lyse. The BBC would be looking for someone who could appear anchoring flagship bulletins, I don't think Clive would be first choice. However, he might be deployed for NC coverage.

Other than the fact he is an experienced BBC correspondent who has reported from more than 50 countries, has reported from events like these multiple times since becoming a news channel presenter (including national bulletins), and is a regular on the weekend bulletins - no, he isn't senior at all.

I suppose. He's still not on the same level as those mentioned, though. Nonetheless, he is a talented broadcaster.
