Also, still waiting for Ellie Crisell and Sue Thearle to pop up.

Yes I do wonder where Sue has got to. She made the transition from being a sports presenter to a news presenter very well. I find that a lot of people doing like Ellie. I can understand why, but there will always be a part of me that wishes they used her from time to time. Being a fifteen year old, she was presenting Newsround during my era so I suppose I'm just used to her. I would find it quite boring coming into work every day just to present one minute of news.

Well she is now a parent. So perhaps this 'Part time' job at BBC News suits her just fine. Her personal life is just that, personal and private.

From memory of following her on Twitter, she said she was returning at some point. I have a feeling shewas off work injured for a time, and covers Wimbledon for international broadcasters, so she may just be on an extended leave. Not that there are as many shifts to cover post- TVC era, though.

Given her familiarity with the programme and ease with the lighter sides of news broadcasting, I'd be surprised if she didn't turn up on Breakfast as a co-host at somepoint.

Sorry if I've missed it, but aren't you the only one who's mentioned her personal life?

Sue Thearle was the reporter on ITV4's Europa League coverage last week.

Heard Naga Munchetty says she will see us again on GMT a bit later, after she had just concluded World Today.

I do wonder why there are less shifts though. For example, prior to the nBH move, you can almost guarantee that Tim Willcox would at least appear once a day, along with regulars like Sue Thearle, Adam Parsons, Ellie Crisell etc. However, since the transition, the main presenters never seem to be off. Look at BBB New Fix.

Is it me, or does Carrie Gracie keep on abbreviating her welcomes? Like today, I swear she said 'Good morning. Bbc news Simon McCoy Carrie Grace'. I hope she stops because it's becoming very irritating. Also, I can't stand the fact that Carol Walker kept on introducing herself first, then Ben Brown after the weather. It's very rude of her. Also, does she ever sit on the right of the screen? She always seems to be leading coverage, and main presenters, who are much more senior than her, always sit on the right.

This has been covered before, directors choice I believe.

Do you have a link to the page where this has been discussed please? And just to clarify, I am a firm fan of Carole Walker, and she's proving that she deserves to be on the NC, but the name things just gets to me!

George has presented both Six and Ten all this week. What is stopping the BBC from having one presenter for both the Six and Ten? Apart from George's commitment to GMT (which I assume he hasn't presented this week) and Huw's News at Five on BBC News Channel. Surely it would be cheaper and unlike the 1980s & 90s both are produced by same team so would make sense.
