David Eades is back on BBCWN on Nik Gowing's slot. Is this the first of his appearance here since a very long hiatus, (on which I heard he was doing World Services Radio)? I actually think David Eades is a pretty capable presenter, I wonder why they want him to do radio instead.

I don't think he has been doing world service, but he has been doing a lot of the world tonight, on Radio 4. They are short of a presenter and he has been a stand in for a long time.

Tim Wilcox is presenting Global earlier tonight, but will Jon Sopel showing up on BBC News at One?

I'm not sure if you're asking about today or tomorrow, but it was Sophie Raworth on the One today.

So when Sophie presents the Six, as she did today, she also does the One? I always thought she only does one or the other.

What about when George does the Six and Ten, I assume he doesn't present GMT or does it?

George rarely ever presents the Ten. But when he does the six, I think he also does GMT.

No mention here of Jeremy Bowen shot in the head with pellets, apparently fired from a shotgun, in Cairo? He's ok, but must be pretty shaken up. Pic on twitter is shown in this article:

Are pellets like real bullets or something else? How dangerous if one gets hit?

There real bullets but not normal sized ones you get in a shot gun. Its usually used to shoot birds or tin cans

I see. So I guess it's used in this case as a non-lethal hard measure to control the rowdy protesters.
