Does anyone know what accent is Julie Peacock inclined towards? At least to me, her accent seems rather different from the majority of news readers at BBCWN. She seems to pronounce words, for instance UK (normally pronounced 'You Kay') as 'You-Key' or 'You-Kee'.

She is Scottish, so her accent will be rather distinct from the southern accents/RP mixture you tend to get. I would guess that she is from around Glasgow, but that's only a guess.
