I hope Ben does get his chance on more network news. He comes across as a very likeable presenter. His delivery is excellent.

I agree, but World viewers might not want to lose him

At last.......

Carrie Gracie doing Newsroom Live from Westminster. Other than her China work, Is this the first time she's anchored on location? I can't remember her ever doing it before even in her original 1999-2014 stint.

Also Lukwesa Burak doing a weekday daytime shift in the studio, another unusual occurence.

Some schools are doing different patterns for kids being off. Some schools have got 2 weeks off with Easter in the middle, some have got Easter at the end. But I’ve noticed this year some have started their usual 2 week Easter break early this week. I work between Bolton & Bury and some of my colleagues have their kids off this week and next. They then go back for 4 days after Palm Sunday but then are off Good Friday & Easter Monday off returning on Tuesday after Easter.
The next 3/4 weeks are likely to have some differences due to school Easter Holidays

Depends if you're including the Beijing Olympics in her China work

Here in Sheffield we've also got the next 2 weeks off back for a few days and then Good Friday and Easter Monday off.

In Northumberland the schools break up this Thursday (Friday is teacher training day) and return the day after Easter Monday. The schools in Tyne & Wear break up on Friday but return the same day.

The afternoon business bulletins on the News Channel were presented by a new person, but does anyone know them? I didn’t catch the name but it seemed like they were Irish based on accent?
