That’s something i’ve seen from a lot of world news presenters, so it’s probably something they’re asked to do there. Kasia has done it a few times when she presented on the news channel a while back.
Often appears on the briefing, business live and world news today so hardly an unknown face to the UK audience (even those who have never watched sky).
I don’t watch briefing or business live, as i’m usually asleep then. She only appears rarely on world news today. In terms of what i meant, i meant that it’s only the second time she’s directly presented for the news channel, all those programmes you mentioned are just simulcasts from world news, for which i don’t consider as direct nc broadcasts.

Samantha Simmonds presenting the evening shift today on the News Channel. This would be her second time presenting for the domestic audience, as most of her presenting for the BBC appears to have been for World News broadcasts.
