Interesting article in the Telegraph about David Eades, Tim Willcox and Joanna Gosling all involved in a court case where it is alleged that BBC World News enforced them to set up companies to allow them (Gosling cites in particular) to continue working as presenters at the Channel. The court case is currently ongoing.

Slowly slowly there is quite a lot coming out of the BBC at the moment.......

Anyway, just parking this here. *Avoids speculation and further comment*

Don't worry - all the speculation and comment has been going through my mind over the last several months, so it hasn't been avoided at all, just that I've never posted any of it. We (I) can draw my own conclusions now from the mention of avoiding it failing to avoid it. Lol, I'm pondering it even more in my mind now - which is now full of speculation precisely because of the comment about avoiding comment. A bit like a 'no comment' comment - says so much more than any other comment ever could! Thanks for your post, sending me into unposted speculation.

What a mess. It's sad to see these familiar faces treated badly and now facing huge potential losses.

Wasn’t that the case with a few others less than five years ago? The BBC said they were doing away with it.

Has the 8pm bulletin been quietly dropped, there wasn't one last Thursday or tonight?

I thought it was the most watched bulletin of the day.

I thought it was the most watched bulletin of the day.

I've just watched back from the end of EastEnders to the start of Holby and can't see it so it looks like it has been.

Never understood the point of it anyway.

A shame if so, it was the only bulletin that some younger adult viewers watched.

Back to E at 8:30-I wonder if it's more likely to do with the breaking news about the Iran deal that The News Channel took the 8:00pm Outside Source tonight rather than the bulletin being dropped as to my knowledge there was an 8:00pm bulletin last Thursday.

It's the 19:58 bulletin on BBC one that is being discussed not the 20:00 news channel bulletin.
