Surprised to see Geeta GM on WNT this evening.

It's been an unusual week on BBC News. A lot of people seem to be away. In addition to WNT yesterday, Geeta also presented Global on the same day. She also presented Impact on a few days last week.

It's schools half term this week, which may explain why there's presenter absence.

Yes and a Bank Holiday as well, explaining certain shifts on the NC.

I have to say, Christian Fraser is very good on the Papers. I suppose his wealth of experience as a correspondent had helped him for this as it is effectively the presenter interviewing two guests.

I've just heard that Nags is to return to NBH to present Sunday Morning Live in the new season, as replacement of Sian Williams who left to join ITN.

I recall Sian saying she would continue to present SML. Real shame and again it's Naga overload!

Has Shaun Ley been on the NC since 10 today, for that brief 15 mins before the special Queen's 90th with Huw Edwards at 10.15? He's anchoring both the 10 and 2 shifts in that case, having also filled in for Gavin Esler on Dateline London.

Is that correct?

Is it a mistake that the news bulletin scheduled tonight is still called "BBC News at Six", even though its on at er... 7:05?
