I'm only an irregular viewer to WN and GMT, but is it normal for the biz presenter to sit down to do the biz segment? Just as Alice Baxter did it that the same time last week on the catwalk.

Usually only if they have to interview a studio guest, they will sit over at the "Impact" position.

Any idea who the BBC Sport presenter is this afternoon? New to me. Jane said their name so fast that it sounded like "Dellas Floyd?"

Was she Scottish? It might have been Jane Lewis...

Australian anchor, Reged Ahmad, is presenting on BBC World News this morning. First time, if I'm not mistaken.

I guess if she's back on a regular basis same as before, and with George Alagiah now back full time, we won't be seeing so much of Reeta Chakrabarti, since she was effectively brought in to cover Kate and George's respective absences. Not to mention with Clive Myrie also being used more and more on the nationals, there seems to be even less need for her.

I don't mind Reeta presenting as much as others seem to, but she is undeniably much better as a correspondent than presenter. Some newsreaders just are IMO, two more examples being Ben Brown and Carole Walker.
