Really pleased to see George back on the 6 and looking so well after, what must have been such a challenging time. I think I speak for all on TV Forum when I say how deeply missed he was.

It's as if he has never been away.

After being away for such a long period, it shows how much George and his delivery have been missed from the Six.

Maybe a certain rookie newscaster on ITV should watch, listen and learn!

But at the same time, it's a compliment to the strength of the BBC's team and journalism that the programme has continued to be strong despite his absence. Great to see him back, you could genuinely tell he was really happy to be there.
