BBC News: Presenters & Rotas

No she normally comes over to London to see family a couple of times a year apparently, thats what I remember someone saying on this forum a few months ago when she was last over here.

It's worth noting that it's the start of the annual school summer holidays in England until early September. During this time of year, it's common for the normal presenters with children to take time off, with cover not being the norm.

It has been done to cut costs - three presenters instead of the previous four.

Very disappointing. Maybe James will defect to ITV

Ok, we got the message the first time.

The right decision by the BBC, however it proves again that you have to go to ITV to prove you're capable of the job.

Or maybe there want someone who is not all BBC minded, IE been around the houses.

I'm quite impressed that Laura is trending on Twitter with the correct spelling of her surname.

Watching Outside Source for the first time in any great length. I don't know if it's because Karin is hosting the show but it's terrible. Extremely gimmicky. She can't cope without looking at the autocue and there's been about 4-5 times where the screen hasn't worked or she hasn't pressed the right part of the screen. Very amateur.
