Matthew Amroliwala is in Westminster on BBC News.
Does he still show up on the News channel after becoming the presenter for Global, just like what Jon Sopel did?
I suspect he will do exactly what Jon Sopel did so will appear on location around the world. I'm sure they want someone who is also recognisable to news channel viewers as their 'go-to' anchor.
No surprises here in that Dan Roan has been appointed the BBC's new Sports Editor. He ran rings around predecessor David Bond, and is by far the best reporter they have.
Thrilled to announce the excellent @danroan is new Sports Editor @BBCNews
I thought Kasia and Ben presented very well together this morning. A good combination.
I thoroughly enjoyed Naga & Ben too. There was a memorable one where they were discussing topic on leg space in flights over the papers and Naga draws the comparison about Ben who's over 6 feet who could be concerned about that while she and guest relatively shorter so they were probably spared from the problem.
Also this morning:
"You can reach me and most of the team on Twitter, I'm at @BBCMikeEmbley with or without your 'magic finger'. Thanks for watching."
-Mike's occasional humor.
I noticed Lucy Hockings on GMT, has she been covering GMT regularly?
Babita in Hong Kong now.
Kasia looks to be a regular on TWT now since she appeared mid last week.
Thought it was a good 3-location mix on Newsday today, with Babita in Hong Kong and Rico in Singapore. We get a minor interjection "Hello from London" from Daniela in between, doing a short roundup of other news.
Babita said "It's just gone 8 in the evening... in the morning.. here in Hong Kong."
Glad Rico got it right on the other hand with "You're watching Newsday, live from Singapore and Hong Kong."
