Just random searching Twitter again, and I've noticed that Matthew Amroliwala may have already created his own Twitter account...
https://www.twitter.com/AmroliwalaBBC

If this is an official account, I guess he finally got forced to have his own twitter since he will soon have host Global. Ha!

With his name, I do wonder why he didn't go for MatthewBBC... bit easier to spell, and surprisingly not taken!

Amroliwala is far more distinctive than Matthew; he's the most famous Amroliwala, after all.

True. But I wouldn't know how to spell it Wink

Exactly as he says it...

Am-roli-wala? Don't see anything hard to spell about that.

I guess it's because I'm not a regular BBC News Channel viewer (through UK VPN though) or something, but I'm also getting a bit tongue-tied whenever I try to pronounce Amroliwala.

You could spell it with "ll" instead of a single second "l", or an "o" replacing the second "a".

On the One yes, I think, but he was one of the relief presenters for the Six back when it was double headed.

I'm looking forward to seeing Matthew on Global today - he'll be a great new addition to the World News team. After a number of departures, here's hoping he's the first of a few new signings to re-invigorate the presentation on the channel.

I'd like to see her on nationals more. She's spot on with delivery and tone.

Lucy Manning started at BBC News today as special correspondent. I wonder when she'll make it on-screen.
