I don't usually criticise presenters on BBC News because most are excellent, but I haven't really warmed to Rita Chakrabarti at all. She's an outstanding reporter (and was one of my favourite political reporters/correspondents when she was in post there) and you can't fault that. She was one of those reporters who I thought, a few years ago would make an excellent presenter mind you.
I don't know if it's the over emphasis of words or she just seems too serious on even the fluffiest of stories?
Just watching her on the papers this evening, the whole review seemed stiff and stilted - whereas the likes of Martine Croxall, Clive Myrie and even Gavin Grey seem to connect with the guests and viewer better.
Yes it is difficult to warm to her. She does doesn't show much personality. The Papers wasn't very good but the presenters normally have 20 minutes to half an hour to prepare. Reeta on the other hand also had to present the national bulletin which meant she didn't have as much time to prepare. She has got better but she's been on six days this week and I'm getting a bit tired of her.

I think it is quite likely her, when I google up her pictures. She was wearing some sort of a blue outfit with large ring earrings if I didn't recall wrong, unfortunately I didn't capture a screenshot. But it looks pretty likely. Is she a new upcoming presenter like Maleem Said?
I didn't know Juliette Foster left too. I just assumed she was allocated a slot which coincides with my bedtime. Always liked her pair up with Naga Munchetty on TWT last year, although it was really rare occurences. Talking about Naga, good to see her again on TWT today after a week with James Menendez & Sally.
