I know from my limited contact with people who work in television that these sorts of sites are very well known and widely read (and ridiculed) by staff.

Nice to see Sam Naz returning to London after being on Look East.

Just made an appearance on the 90 second update, has Ellie gone on maternity leave yet?

*beats head rhythmically against desk*

I don't understand, a presenter change is allowed to be posted on here isn't it not? And isn't it not a perfectly acceptable question to ask about whether Ellie has left for maternity or is it not?

*deep breath* OK...

Why is it relevant to you why someone you do not know may or may not be away from their place of work on maternity leave? If you cannot see how such a question may be construed as inappropriate, bordering on prying creepy there is little hope.

As a one off statement of fact it might be acceptable. When it is part of a daily barrage of similar posts, questions and status updates and when you promote a website that records and collates all this data, it starts to take a more sinister undertone.

Intentionally or not, sorry, that's just the way it is.

BBC News Fix your obsession with minute details (and I use the word obsession purposely) caused myself and others great discomfort and goes into far too much personal detail that most normal people on here simply don't care about. So for clarity, no its not a perfectly simple question and no its not appropriate for here.

Further posts by yourself or any members of a similar nature will result in a warning against you, any occurrences after this may result in a temporary or permanent ban.

Nope. All normal. James Coomarasamy on the early, Maryam Moshiri on the mid shift, and I'll be doing the late shift.

Peter Dobbie will be back next weekend, I believe.

That is a good choice - Rajesh has been very good on the News Channel + BBC World
EDIT: Rajesh is presenting the late shift tonight on the news channel as well as on BBC One Earlier.

When did Julia Somerville leave BBC News? Did she ever present from Broadcasting House?

She left before the move to Broadcasting House - But as with Fiona Armstrong and Sue Thearle her departure was not announced.
