The sublime Dickie Welch is managing the floor for said Eakin appearance. We can be assured of quality mixed with giggilarity at the same time.

Did any presenters appear with Matthew Amroliwala on the TOTHs during his 2-5 shift?

Joanna Gosling was at Westminster Abbey during the 2-5 shift-also Jane Hill was at Glasgow cathedral during the News at One (which Matthew Amroliwala also did in the studio.)

Both The News at Five and 6:30-9:00 shifts was Joanna at Westminster Abbey, Tim Willcox in Belgium and Julian Worricker in the studio.

The News at Six had Reeta Chakrabarti in the studio and Sophie Raworth in Belgium but it was mostly Mishal Husain (doing her first Six since she started Today.) at Westminster Abbey

Never before has someone gone from no news reading what so ever to presenting every bulletin going, including the most major flagship bulletins, in such a short space of time.

Not saying that she shouldn't be, just that it is quite unusual.

Makes no sense whatsoever. I find her unbearable to watch. Zero gravitas, as said time and time again - they have a stable of excellent presenters to cover the flagship bulletins without having to use Reeta. She's a great correspondent but sucks at presenting.

I echo this sentiment, it feels like she is always grinning and smiling even during the most harrowing of stories. Urgh, just no...
