Seems to me like the news channel is going single headed all day . For me, i prefer double headed bulletins. With Carrie, Matthew, Jon and Louise leaving/ left the channel as a presenter and not being replaced. I hope it doesn't go to a format like BBC World with different programs, rolling news is much better imo.

Not quite sure where you get that from? They'd have to lose at least another 3 presenters to make that work.

3 Presenters that BBC World are in desperate need of

3 presenters that didn't need to be nabbed from other departments, could've clearly promoted some reporters, or biz/sport presenters or bring some in from outside.

Or you could just put up with Single-Headed given most Double-Headed Presentation is one presenter doing one item and the other doing the next, anyway.

8am sees Rajesh on the desk, and then summary recap at 8.30am, Tim Wilcox comes on. Rajesh was on TWT earlier.

James Menendez from BBC World Service is on BBC WN.

Seems like BBC WN is having to take presenters from other BBC departments like BBC World Service. They've lost Martine Dennis, Nick Gowing and Mishal Husain, so Lucy Hockings has to go on and present Impact.

Peter Okwoche appeared on the TOTH of the BBC News channel at 4pm but never appeared at the 5pm TOTH.
Ben Brown however appeared on BBC World at 5pm UK Time.

Are the two presenters swapping around with Ben on world and Peter on the NC?

I doubt it, anything goes on BBC World at the weekend.

What mine? I think you'll have to be clearer about it.

Sorry, what I meant was since the move to NBH - BBC World News's Weekend Presentation team seems to be more or less whoever happens to be around. Weekends are after all BBC World News's weakest point.

Sorry, I didn't understand BNF's conclusion that the World and NC presenters had swapped over.

I don't really understand BNF at all tbh.

tbfh, I don't know why I'm here, I'm lost, carry on...
