When did BBC World News cut out of the European election coverage? I wasn't aware Newsday was on.

BBC1 Bulletins-Evening:Jane Hill Late: Huw Edwards

So I presume that despite the Bank Holidays, todays BBC1 bulletins were rehearsed and therefore News Channel decamps continued as normal?

Yes - the Six and Ten were normal length durations, as opposed to the normal trimmed BH durations, mainly to for coverage of the elections.

However, I noticed that Tanya Beckett was acting as a business correspondent during the Ten talking about GSK. First time we've seen her do anything like that in a very long time. I suppose she must have been the only person available to do it.

Tanya would have been doing Business Edition on World from 9.00 until 9.30, so she would have been around NBH anyway...

Good to see her used more. On a par with Huw, if not better in my opinion.

Who presented tonight's 6.30-9pm shift on the NC?
