I've never met George but he always comes across as an absolute gentleman, here's hoping he has a full recovery and we see him on our screens again soon.

Oh no First Maxine Mawhinney (who i am glad to say has now recovered) Now George Alagiah-Get Well Soon. I'm guessing by the paragraph about familiar faces means that it will be the likes Fiona Bruce Sophie Raworth and Jane Hill (Possibly Mishal Husain as well) covering the Six for the next few months.

Sadly it strikes about a third of the population in some form or other.

Sophie Long on the 90 second update. Been a long day since her shift at 11 with Ben. Not as long as Alice Baxters days though!

Aw diddums. I've been at work since 10am, and will hopefully leave at midnight. People in TV/entertainment do long hours, it's part of the job.
