Kamal Ahmed has started at the BBC today as Business Editor, meaning that Robert Peston is now occupying the position of Economics Editor.

Let's see when he appears on-screen. I'm looking forward to what he brings to the role.

Almost Certainly, her last appearance was about two years ago.

I had seen a shot of Tim Willcox walking behind Jane Secker while she was presenting the BBC News at Six yesterday when it approached the 22nd minute.

Unfortunately, I have no youtube clip to upload here but it will be interesting to see if other presenters were spotted while behind the main BBC News studio at other times when it was being broadcast from BH.

If Jane Secker was presenting BBC News at Six yesterday then that is the interesting part.

I knew her first name was Jane anyways and of course the second part a big fail.

I assume George Alagiah would have done BBC WN instead of presenting the News at Six that day.

Don't say things like that, you ruin their fantasies of the presenters turning up to BH moments before going on air and leaving straight after or being unpacked from a box just in time to present. Everyone knows that they don't do any work before or after their time in front of the camera, so why would they need to be in the newsroom.

And don't forget the importance of the "OMG! I saw a person off of TV doing something completely normal!" effect.
