Who is presenting business news on the news channel today? Sorry if it's previously been discussed, but she's not a presenter I recognise.

Its Victoria Fritz - She covers Declan on 'Your Money'

Edit: I've just realised 'BBC News Fix' got in before me!

I think what he means is this is the first time he's seen Yalda Hakim presenting in Studio C, as if I've understood correctly, she's usually covered the weekday programmes that are usually from Studio B. BBC World News have this unusual set up.

I don't find a BBC World News presenter presenting from a BBC World News studio 'unusual' or noteworthy, sorry.

Maybe I'm just weird.

If she was presenting a vastly different type of programme - which such as Breakfast which happens to come from a different studio, or 'soft' set type - that might be relevant or noteworthy. But as Jonny says a regular news presenter from one of the two regular news studios isn't relevant or interesting for any obvious reason.

I don't think I've ever seen Yakim present on a weekend that must be a first.

Christian Fraser made what could be his first BBC1 appearance today on the Lunchtime News.

Possibly a last minute change across the channels, since Maxine and Tim both unavailable. Gavin Grey stayed on and did an extra hour only on World News at 6am this morning, with Yalda taking the reins from 7, I believe.

Dani Sinha currently on World. David Eades would normally do the mid shift, but I believe he was on GMT most of the week. And since Karin G no longer appears at weekends, James Coomarasamy is in Kiev and its also half term, (Yalda) Hakim may have been a last minute call up.

They did ask me, but I was busy with fog.

I've seen her presenting on several UK overnights from C, so it's not even noteworthy in that respect. It's on the same scale as someone announcing that the News Channel have started using the outside source balcony space to present the weather, because they've only watched the NC for the first time.

Don't think I've seen her on an overnight before.... are you confusing her with Daniela Ritorto (understandable error really!)
