Newsround’s Ore Oduba was in the Sports centre with the latest for the News Channel this afternoon.

He's also done a few shifts on BBC Breakfast as well...

Is Babita Sharma still on Newsday? She's been missing for some time.

She has been swapping her shifts with Kasia over the past few months because she has been doing some presenting on Impact

Who is Simon McCoy's co-presenter? I don't recognise her at all - it's still not clear what the post-Carrie arrangement is.

And former Anglia News and BBC News 24 presenter.

She was rather dull and too serious, stopping Simon from being his usual, light-hearted self - absolutely no attempt to create any chemistry. It's now you appreciate how special Simon and Carrie were together, although it is unfair of me to compare, given the time that they presented together.

I'm hoping she never appears again - not somebody the News Channel should be using when there are plenty more capable presenters around.

I'm fully entitled to my opinion without being ridiculed. Looking at my post, there's absolutely nothing unreasonable that I've written apart from an honest opinion - not an entirely vacuous and pointless post such as your own.

I think it's pretty much a given fact that on the News Channel, a bit of personality is what the viewer wants, and indeed goes along way, at the required times to contrast with the hard news agenda of the day.

Does it really matter who presents it? Nobody moaned when Emily Maitlis and Jon Sopel were split up...

Well obviously I don't mind that when Emily, Jon, Carrie etc. are in better jobs. As sad as it was to see Carrie and a Simon go, I'm really looking forward to seeing Carrie reporting from Beijing and China - easily at her best
