I couldn't help but notice that the BBC's Los Angeles Correspondent Alastair Leithead is reporting from South Sudan in Africa.
A big change of scenery, does this happen a lot with reporters moving from one position to another temporarily?
His twitter account does say that he is the former Africa correspondent.

I remember he used to be based in Afghanistan and that is probably the most dangerous place in the world. So he's used to these sorts of places.
