It is normally main presenters

Last year on Christmas Day,
6-9: Louise Minchin presented Breakfast
9-12: Simon McCoy
12-16: Chris Eakin (lunchtime news)
16-20: Clive Myrie
20-midnight: Julian Worricker
Mishal Husain presented the evening news

Anyway, Annita is back on again tonight, Kate was on the Six, which is a nice change. I think all shifts on the NC will be single-headed until the 27th, possibly until the New Year.

Last year, presenters where single headed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New years Eve and New Year's Day.

2nd January this year went back to double headed presentation

Its good to see Annita McVeigh doing the teatime shift and see her earlier in the day this Boxing Day.

Last year, presenters where single headed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New years Eve and New Year's Day.


I do prefer the newsreaders being single-headed; it's so much less horrifying that way.

Makes it more difficult to deal with breaking news I think. When a major story breaks it seems much easier to cover with dual presenters.
