Indeed, I've just taken a look and it appears some of the footage has been filmed especially for this survey, or for pilots of the particular presenter - I don't think Rajesh Mirchandani has presented Impact?
The latest BBC Global Minds survey is like an audition for the new presenter of Impact. The candidates are Karin G, Lucy Hockings, Babita Sharma, Yalda Hakim and Rajesh Mirchandani.
Hope Karin gets the gig.

No, i dont believe he has, but he has presented the odd BBC World News bulletin and World News America before.

He's presented on the News Channel and World News on generic bulletins too, just not Impact. Here's a mad thought to through into the mix... krishnan Guru-Murthy? Not sure he'd want to make such a move, but I reckon in theory it could be a good fit.

Katya Adler presenting Impact today. Any thinks she might be a good candidate for long-term presenter of Impact? While at it, I think after Mishal's departure, we're seeing a mixture of different people rotating doing Impact, it makes the show lose maybe a bit of identity.
Update: Yup, so it looks like we haven't have the permanent presenter selected.

Katya seems to be pregnant so that would appear to rule her out as this would leave the programme without a settled presenter for a considerable time.
She's always been on the road, but I think she'd make a good signing later when she wants to come in.

If she's already a contracted BBC employee, they almost certainly wouldn't be allowed to discriminate on the basis of her being pregnant. I think the only exception is if the individual hasn't been employed by a company for a minimum number of weeks, or makes it clear intentions to scale back her workload before taking on a promotion.

Carrie Gracie (who had previously done the 8:30AM-11:00AM shift with Matthew Price) was with Sophie Long until 11:30 and then Sophie Long was alone until midday when she was joined by Matthew Amroliwala.
^ I tuned in to see the Christmas trees and it was Matthew and Sophie Long.
