A new face on Asia Business Report, Ali Moore. A further search indicates she is from Australia's ABC. Looks like a new recruitment to the BBC in Singapore.

Ali Moore presenting looks like a last minute to present the show today - with Sharanjit out in Manila and Rico's day off supposingly, no sources to say Ali has moved from ABC to BBC.
Ali Moore launched ABC News 24 with Scott Bevan back in 2010.

I think you're right, she doesn't appear on Newsday, Babita presenting solo.

Also, just a thought, probably it's time to have a third alternative at the BBC Singapore studio, with Mariko Oi becoming New York correspondent a time a go. We'll see if she becomes regular.

I think Mariko Oi is only on attachment in New York for six months. She should be back in Singapore soon IIRC.

Noticed Lucy Williamson has been reporting from China recently, a change from her usual location.

Rupert Wingfield-Hayes, Alastair Leithead and Jon Donnison are there too. Looks like lots of country-specific correspondents are deployed there at moment, not to mention the anchors from London.

Think it's just a substitute thing, as George is away. Alice fills in for random slots regularly, she was doing the the morning 5am slot too I noticed the same day.

Both Tim Willcox and George Alagiah in Manila, so I guess Alice will pop up a bit randomly on their respective slots on World this week.
