Emily Maitlis did the lunchitme news and George Alagiah did the news at six. There is a handy website that tells you who did what shifts - www.bbcnewspresenters.webs.com and then go to the archive section.

I always assumed the 8pm update was pre recorded. I see no reason that they'd have to broadcast it live.
