Just noticed Stephanie Flanders is presenting tomorrow's Andrew Marr show - never seen her present before?


She did quite a few relief shifts on News 24 a couple of years back, when she was still working for Newsnight, but I don't think she's presented any BBC1 programmes before.

Sarah Stirk - worked at EMT a few years ago and Setanta amongst others since then.

If Sophie did move back to the news at six she could then take the deputys job but personally think the rotas should go like this:

Breakfast: stay the same
News at one: louise/emily
News at six: George/fiona
News at ten:huw/sophie

I think she is well suited to the news at ten the most.

Newsnight: kirsty/nick/gavin (emily would move to the news at one and jeremy to question time.)


What does everyone think will happen to Kate once sian comes back?

Is it just me, or is Alistair Yates working an awful lot? I'm sure that every day this week, he has been doing the overnight shift, including World News Today at 3am (Mon-Fri). He is certainly a very professional and competent newsreader.

That would be Carrie Davis of 'Chris Moyles Show' fame. She's done the NC before.
