That line-up is what was originally stated on the ITV Guide. I wonder why it changed.
Some clips from last night's programme are available here, although of course it'll be on iPlayer for a week.

It has also been updated on BBC iPlayer.

I don't remember it either. But I can't think of seeing him present at all other than fri 2-5pm for ages.
Unusual...Julian Worricker on the night shift tonight. I don't remember him doing this shift before. I'm probably wrong.

Quick train trip, flight or car drive down from Manchester for him this afternoon then. He was on R4's 'You and Yours' at lunchtime.

Enjoying Nick on Newsnight again tonight...also interesting to see them use only the sofa so far with some rather nice angles on it....

A surprise to see Nick doing Newsnight, but I don't think they'd have put him on it if they weren't looking to the future a bit. Indeed a surprise to see a reporter step up to be a presenter too on the BBC - it's common at ITN, but seems quite rare on the BBC, with most relief hosts coming from the news channel.

Tonight's show was good; definitely wouldn't be surprised to see Robinson presenting Newsnight on a regular basis in the future. He's got the political credentials and it feels as though he brings something to the show similar to Paxman.
One thing though, it felt rather like "Newsnight: Nick Robinson", apart from the report by Michael Crick in Totnes, and from an unknown reporter (not a Newsnight regular?) in Greenland, the show was predominantly Nick Robinson. I suppose this isn't uncommon on Newsnight, but you certainly get the impression they are a bit short on staff at the moment.
According to the man himself, he's back tommorow, so I guess the ITV Guide etc. is correct. However, I highly doubt Tim Marlow will do the full programme on Friday given that he's an Art critic IIRC.

Yes, definitely similar presenting style to Jeremy Paxman in some ways, perhaps better than Paxman. I can definitely see a future for him on the programme. I've enjoyed watching him and look forward to seeing him again on the programme. He has the crudentials, being Political Editor. He seems natural to watch, after no presenting opportunities until now. All credit to Nick. The camera angles have been pleasing as well, especially when Nick was sat on the sofa. Definitely more of these new camera angles, please!

Has to be said that when you bare in mind having Nick on newsnight, plus giving James Landale a role in which he can act as political editor, it does feel like they're some what grooming both of them. Question is though, where would Nick fit in? Surely Newsnight doesn't need a fifth anchor, and I honestly can't see any of the current four moving anywhere any time soon. If they were to move him to radio they'd of tested him on that instead, but I'm struggling to think of any other tv news program that would be high profile yet likely to be vacant!
